Understand Bandwidth !!!

We get Bandwidth :-

64 kb/sec, 128 kb/sec, 256 kb/sec, 512 kb/sec...

Here kb = Kilo Bits

And 1 byte = 8 bits
So if you get 256 kb/sec speed then you are able to download at :

256/8 = 32 kilo bytes/sec


Just the ISP's are fooling us with kb/sec where b stands for bits instead of bytes !
